Romanza is a string quartet based in the Hawke's Bay area of New Zealand, providing elegant background music for special functions such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate and private occasions.

The string quartet is made up of two violins, viola and cello. This combination of instruments has a large repertoire from the energetic Baroque style of Vivaldi and Bach, through the elegance of Haydn and Mozart to popular and modern compositions to suit all tastes.

Established in 1987, the Romanza String Quartet has performed at hundreds of special occasions in predominantly the Hawke's Bay and Taupo areas. This experience gives us the expertise and flexibility required to work closely with you and ensure satisfaction for your special function.

Romanza is very flexible and able to play indoors or outside, depending on conditions.
